FLAVOUR

As a late addition hop it has orange, kiwifruit and passion fruit flavours. Perfect for a pale ale or part of a Hazy IPA hop blend.

HISTORY: 

Bred from an American female and a UK male. Orange Sunrise was granted protected status under the NZ Plant Variety Rights Act 1987 on December 5, 2022 after 3 year PVR trials at Plant & Food Research in Motueka.

GROWTH/YIELD: 

Beautiful plant with a prolific hop yield with large hop cones  providing over one kg of dried hop cones from one plant in its first year of growth.

It is a strong grower and very beautiful to look at making it especially good for decoration, hop garlands and for growing over a trellis, arbours, pergolas etc.

Hi, first sampling of our Orange Sunrise Hazy IPA. It’s really nice. Definite orange juice nose, well balanced but on the bitter side, finishes orange again. A good light sunny day beer.
