NZ POST POSTAGE & PACKING CHARGES: Prices have risen slightly for the 2022/2023 season. Packing labour & packing materials are included in the price of the postage.
POSTAL CHARGES AS OF 15/02/23: 1 - 2 HOP PLANTS = $20.00; 3 - 4 HOP PLANTS = $30.00; 5 - 6 HOP PLANTS = $35.00. For orders over 6 plants we suggest contacting us for an invoice where we can implement bulk pricing adjustments. (see LARGE ORDERS below)
RD#: When you are placing an order online please include your RD number if applicable. Failure to do this may result in a delay or non delivery of your plant. We want the plants to arrive to you in the best possible condition. We cannot accept any responsibility for delays or poor plant health if you have not supplied your correct address details.
TRACKING: All parcels have tracking but to save workload we will only send the tracking number if there are problems with delivery and you request it. On the rare occasion that a parcel gets lost and undelivered for 2 weeks or more we can replace the plant or offer a refund but we cannot refund the postage as once the parcel is dispatched and picked up by NZ Post from our premises the responsibility for delivery shifts to NZ Post.
PACKING: Each hop plant is grown in a 1 liter pot for standard plants or a PB5 grow bag for advanced plants. For transportation to you, each hop plant is watered and packed in its own secure plastic bag and/or a cardboard sleeve to minimise disruption of the plant during the delivery period, ensuring the plant arrives at your place, safe and ready to plant.
PARCELS: Orders are packed in various size boxes with empty cardboard sleeves added to secure the contents if the number of plants in a box is an odd number.
LARGE ORDERS: Orders of 7 or more hops can be invoiced with direct debit banking. They are generally packed 6 to a box with empty sleeves added to secure the contents if the number of plants in a box is an odd number. We can work with the courier of your choice.
